umm...i read on wikipedia that the two most possible theories r that

1. He killed himself (not a big surprise considering he used to say " I hate myself and i wanna die"
2. He died due to a drug and alcohol overdose....

neah...he didn't himself cuz he was in a great period when he died...he was getting a divorce and wanted the custody of the kid...and he wanted courtney out of his will...
i think thats the reason why she wanted him dead...

It's clear to me that he killed himself. Kurt wanted to get out from his life, his wife, the music, friends...everything. But he didn't want to retire cause he thought that people would forget him. So he found a way to never be forgotten again.
